Role OverviewThe Special Education Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers, special education staff, and related service professionals to help students access their educational programs and reach their individual goals. This position is located at one school location, providing consistency for both the paraprofessional and the students they support. The paraprofessional will work in a K–12 school setting in Colorado Springs, CO.
What You Will Do
The Special Education Paraprofessional will carry out instructional programs and lessons in various learning environments, work one-on-one with students, monitor behavior programs, and perform tasks such as meal preparation and first aid/emergency care.

Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Associates Degree preferred
- Teaching Assistant/Paraprofessional certification required where applicable
- Basic computer and web-based programs experience
- Good written and verbal skills
- Personable individual who enjoys working with Teachers, Parents, and Students from Kindergarten to 12th grade
