Role OverviewJoin CCRES as a Paraprofessional to make a difference every day. As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will work on assignment with Capital Area Intermediate Unit, supporting students in various areas such as Autistic, Emotional, Instructional, Learning, and Life Skills. You will work on student days following the academic calendar year.
What You Will Do
Provide instructional, behavioral, and/or physical assistance to an individual student or a small group of students, including on-task prompting, facilitating social skills, and self-care skills. Work with students on organizational skills, guide students in activities, and monitor student progress.

This role may be a fit for you if you have prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting. You will work directly with students at the direction of the classroom teacher and building Principal.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
- TB Screening - current within 3 months
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
