Role Overview

As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students with autism or other learning differences, collaborating with general education teachers to accommodate and modify lesson plans. You will work with a team to develop programming for literacy education and oversee data collection for academic and behavioral goals.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include team teaching, maintaining accurate lesson plans, and providing direct instruction on academic goals. You will also write progress reports, ensure accommodations are being implemented, and attend IEP meetings.

Requirements

  • MN Special Education Teaching license
  • Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks
