Role OverviewIDEA Special Education teachers are responsible for the achievement and support of special education students. They develop individualized plans, provide in-class support, and teach content mastery to students with disabilities. The IDEA Special Education teacher provides a crucial bridge between home and school for our highest need students and their families.
What You Will Do
Adapt lessons to meet student needs, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), implement IEPs, assess student performance, and track progress. Teach small groups of students, collect and analyze student data, and discuss student progress with parents and teachers.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Valid Texas state certification in Special Education
- Experience in a Special Education classroom setting (strongly preferred)
