Job Description
Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join their award-winning team for the 2026-2027 School Year. The teacher will lead the instructional process for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and create personalized learning experiences. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in education, special education, or a related field, and prior experience working with students with diverse needs.

Requirements

  • Creating an inclusive, collaborative environment that involves students, parents, colleagues, and administrators in the educational process.
  • Implementing and reinforcing Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) strategies and behavior expectations.
  • Delivering differentiated and targeted instruction individually or collaboratively in a co-teaching environment.
  • Tracking and documenting student progress and maintaining accurate student files.
  • Developing, updating, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), goals, and interventions.
