Role Overview

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state special education requirements. Provide specialized instruction, curriculum adaptations, accommodations, and behavioral supports based on individual student needs. Collaborate with educators and support professionals to create a structured, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Active Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification with a Special Education Endorsement
  • Experience in resource, inclusion, or self-contained classrooms; familiarity with intensive needs populations and behavioral intervention strategies preferred
