Role OverviewThe Special Education Teacher works collaboratively with Specialists, Teachers, and Instructional Assistants to support student progress by coordinating on lesson planning, sharing data, team teaching, and providing information and materials to families.
What You Will Do
Support the creation and revision of IEP goals, provide students with IEPs the appropriate learning experiences, and maintain updated IEP documentation.

Requirements
- New York State Certification
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three to five years of classroom experience
- Demonstrated success working in an urban school setting
- Master's degree in Education or relevant content area (preferred)
