Role OverviewThis is a full-time, on-site role as a Special Education Teacher serving a school located in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for providing teaching and case management services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
What You Will Do
Provide specialized resource instruction and inclusion support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), develop and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain South Carolina certification before the start date
- Experience supporting students with disabilities in a school setting preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
- Proficiency with educational technology and IEP documentation systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Successful completion of required background screening and fingerprint clearance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism, tact, and discretion in all communications
