Role OverviewBASIS Phoenix South is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our bright, passionate team! The role involves working directly with students to identify and fulfill needed educational services and supports as part of a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
What You Will Do
The Special Education Teacher will work with students with disabilities in small group settings or 1:1 setting, interact directly with assigned students to fulfill IEP requirements, and provide instructional interventions and academic support to individual students or small groups.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card and/or satisfactory applicable state background check
- Current special education certificate valid in relevant jurisdiction
- CPR and First Aid
