Role OverviewWork as a Special Education Teacher at BASIS Flagstaff, identifying and fulfilling needed educational services and supports for students with disabilities. Participate in IEP meetings and provide support to general education teachers.
What You Will Do
Work with students in small groups or 1:1 settings, provide instructional interventions, and collect data for IEP meetings. Collaborate with related service providers and oversee tasks of ESS Assistants.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a Bachelor's degree in special education, a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, and current special education certificate. Experience with CPI or TACT-2 certifications is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Current special education certificate valid in relevant jurisdiction
- CPR and First Aid
