Role OverviewThe Special Education Teacher will work directly with students to identify and fulfill needed educational services and supports as part of a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). The teacher will participate in IEP meetings and provide support to general education teachers regarding classroom interventions, student accommodations, modifications, and special education requirements.
What You Will Do
The Special Education Teacher will work with students with disabilities in small group settings or 1:1 setting, interact directly with assigned students to fulfill IEP requirements, and provide instructional interventions and academic support to individual students or small groups.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card, and current special education certificate valid in the relevant jurisdiction. The candidate will also have certifications in CPI or TACT-2 and 1+ year(s) of special education experience.
