Role OverviewThe Special Education Teacher is responsible for overseeing and delivering instructional services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. This includes providing direct special education services, collaborating with general education teachers and service providers, and ensuring compliance with federal and state special education requirements.
What You Will Do
Provide direct special education services, participate in IEP meetings, develop and implement academic and behavioral intervention plans, write and update IEPs, collaborate with general education teachers, collect and report progress on IEP goals, and maintain student data documentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid Texas Special Education certification
