Role OverviewBrightway Living & Learning is a non-profit provider of human services on Long Island, offering educational, residential, day habilitation, and vocational programs. The Special Education Teacher in the School Age Program will work with developmentally disabled individuals in an ungraded self-contained classroom.
What You Will Do
The Teacher sets up the classroom, structures the schedule, and follows procedures in setting up program books and data collection systems for the purpose of implementing the IEPs of the students in the class.

Requirements
- Master's degree
- NYS Teaching Certification in Special Education
- Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals (preferred)
