Role OverviewTeach students with mild-moderate support needs, implementing behavior management skills and modifying materials to meet individual needs. Develop a balanced program with activities to encourage good skills and attitudes. Collaborate with special education and general education teachers to facilitate successful transition/integration of students with disabilities.
What You Will Do
Plan, design, and implement curricular programs and instructional strategies. Teach using Common Core State Standards. Evaluate pupil development and prepare reports. Maintain a productive classroom environment and communicate with students, teachers, and parents.

Requirements
- Possession of a valid California Special Education Credential with mild/moderate authorization
- Bilingual Cross Cultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD or BCLAD) credential, or equivalent
- Ability to modify or adapt materials to meet each individual's needs
- Highly qualified and competent teacher with the ability to teach at all levels of mild-moderate support needs
