Role Overview

The Special Officer will perform work relating to physical security, safety, loss prevention, and maintenance of order. The selected candidate will be responsible for responding to emergency incidents, maintaining a heightened security level at key locations, and conducting interior and exterior patrols of DOHMH facilities. The Special Officer may be required to work various shifts, including nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and to work rotating tours, change tours, or work overtime when ordered.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Special Officer include responding to emergency incidents, maintaining a heightened security level at key locations, patrolling unstaffed locations, completing complaint and incident reports, and conducting interior and exterior patrols of DOHMH facilities.

Requirements
