Role OverviewThe Special Projects Coordinator will coordinate community outreach, volunteer recruitment, and resident participation, while maintaining legal and fiscal compliance with grants and other institutional funders.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include generating statistical data, responding to correspondence, performing tasks such as statistical reporting, filing, and taking meeting minutes, and assisting with meetings and special events.

Requirements
- Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) highly preferred
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to establish good working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Self-starter able to work independently, with minimum supervision, to meet deadlines
- Strong computer (PC) skills: Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, Access, WordPerfect, Internet, etc.
- Experience using a variety of office computer programs and resources
- Experience in event coordination and management preferred
- Experience working with low income individuals with diverse backgrounds
- High School Diploma or higher
- Valid California driver's license and access to a dependable automobile
