Job Description
Thomas Eye Group is searching for a Special Testing Technician to support ophthalmology clinics, performing various patient tests and interacting professionally with patients and other technicians.

Requirements

  • Perform special testing such as Visual Field Testing, OCT, Humphrey Visual Fields, IOL Master/A-Scan, Fundus photography, topography, pachymetry, and axial length measurements.
  • Efficiently document patients' test results in the EMR system.
  • Administer eye drops and explain their effects to patients.
  • Maintain and disinfect examination rooms and equipment.
  • Assist Physicians and other Ophthalmology providers.
  • Transport patients within the facility to testing rooms.
  • Provide training to technicians when required.
  • Stay updated with testing technologies and equipment.
