Job Description
Join our American Airlines family as a Specialist, Aircraft Records, and embark on a new journey with possibilities both at work and during your time off. As a member of the Aircraft Acquisitions and Returns team, you'll set up newly acquired aircraft and provide a complete history of airworthiness maintenance performed on aircraft/engines/components within FAA compliance.

Requirements

  • Receiving aircraft component delivery records and inputting information into AA electronic maintenance document application
  • Compiling return document packages for the sale or transfer of aircraft or engines
  • Assisting with aircraft configuration set ups as needed
  • Inputting component information in computer systems to record airworthiness data
  • Interfacing with multiple computer programs or software to manage daily work and task execution
  • Distributing and retaining documents as required by company policy to ensure FAA compliance
  • Researching and resolving "pseudo serial numbers" for component and inspection tasks
  • Resolving component data concerns on acquired aircraft
  • Working with internal/external groups for lease return, sold, or new aircraft process
