Role OverviewThe Specialist, Field Technical Support is a hands-on technical leader who supports locomotive maintenance excellence across the network. This role strengthens the technical capabilities of craft employees and apprentices while driving continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and performance.
What You Will Do
Champion locomotive reliability, communicate new maintenance standards, provide hands-on technical support, and partner with Train & Engine teams to investigate locomotive issues.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10 years field experience in locomotive maintenance on GE and EMD locomotive fleets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
- SAP Plant Maintenance an asset
- Strong coaching skills, with the ability to communicate both written and verbally in English and Spanish
