Specialist Production Control II

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. As a Production Control Specialist II, you will plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

What You Will Do

You will develop, maintain, and manage detailed manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows, monitor production operations and expedite activities causing schedule delays, analyze plant capacity and production requisition data, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams. You will also prepare and distribute production reports and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in production control, production scheduling, or operations in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience with production planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret capacity and production requisition data to support decision-making
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
• Must be willing to move and track hardware as needed across the production floor and/or facilities
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
