Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Direct Support Professional to provide direct support to an individual living in the Bradford area. The individual enjoys art, listening to music, and making crafts. The ideal candidate must be able to remain calm in difficult or emergency situations, support an individual with complex developmental disability, behavioral, and mental health needs, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
What You Will Do
The role includes assisting to maintain health, safety, and well-being, providing necessary therapeutic supports, communicating wants/needs effectively, engaging in the community to explore interests and foster relationships, increasing independent living skills, and providing personal care as needed.
