Job Description
The Specialty Program Instructor leads instruction and/or skill development in a specialized area for the Y's Home School Enrichment program. They plan, organize, and execute sessions to create a rewarding experience for participants.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with specialty program offering
  • Experience working with children in group settings
  • Confidence designing and leading age-appropriate activities
  • Enthusiasm for the area of specialization and sharing that knowledge with others
  • Ability to adhere to drug/alcohol/smoke free workplace policy
  • Strong communication skills with both students and parents
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications required
  • Completion of YMCA Blood Borne Pathogens Training
  • Completion of YMCA Child Sexual Abuse Prevention class
