Role OverviewThe Specification Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive specification share gains and growth with engineering and architectural firms in the United States. This role will work with Design Build Contractors, EPC Firms, Facility Managers, and End Users to drive the sales process through guided strategy.
What You Will Do
The primary job duties and responsibilities include creating direct relationships with key architectural, engineering, EPC firms, design build firms, mechanical contractors, facility managers, and end users, driving both Haws Hydration and Emergency Equipment specifications, conducting lunch and learns with key specifiers and designers, and conducting Haws branded webinars to the field.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field or experience
- Minimum of 9 years of related work experience is required
- Strong written and oral communication skills, presentation skills, and computer skills
- Strong sales skills, including motivation for sales, prospecting skills, sales planning, selling to customer needs, territory management, market knowledge, high energy level, meeting sales goals, closing sales, and professional demeanor
- Strong background in strategic sales planning and methodologies
- Financial acumen in understanding operations, sales, engineering, and developing proposals
- Experience in dealing with longer sales cycles (6-36 months)
- Solution based selling experience with the understanding on how to align and become a strategic solutions partner
