Role Overview

The SPED Coordinator will manage the SPED program with excellence, support a culture of “joyful rigor”, and develop scholars and leaders who can contribute on a community, national, and international level. The role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines, coordinating and monitoring evaluation timelines, and implementing IEPs and 504 plans.

What You Will Do

The SPED Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring delivery of all services prescribed in individual education plans, scheduling services for special education scholars, and working with school staff to manage reporting and data tracking. The role also involves conducting monthly IEP audits, ensuring procedural safeguards, and remaining current on special population law and regulations.

Requirements
