SPED Self-Contained Classroom Teacher (Grades: 9-12)

Requirements

• Valid Texas teacher certificate with required endorsements for subject and subject level assigned
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee process and Individual Educational Plan goal setting process and implementation
• Demonstrated general knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to write clear and conclusive audit work papers and concise narrative audit reports
• Demonstrated tact and diplomacy in working with various district and non-district personnel
• Demonstrated organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position
