Role Overview

Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop Individual Education Plans (IEP) through the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process. Implement instructional programs and work cooperatively with classroom teachers. Participate in ARD Committee meetings and share educational programs with the community.

What You Will Do

Develop IEPs, implement instructional programs, work with classroom teachers, and participate in ARD Committee meetings. Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement, maintain records, and file reports. Manage student behavior and administer discipline according to IEP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Valid Texas teacher certificate with required endorsements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the ARD Committee process and Individual Educational Plan goal setting
  • Demonstrated general knowledge of curriculum and instruction
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Minimum Salary: $67,500 (non-certified) / $68,000 (certified)
