SPED Self-Contained Teacher (Grades: EC-5)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teacher certificate with required endorsements
• Demonstrated knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee process and Individual Educational Plan goal setting process
• Demonstrated general knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise audit work papers and narrative audit reports
• Demonstrated tact and diplomacy in working with various district and non-district personnel
