Job Description
Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and implement instructional programs for special education students. Work cooperatively with classroom teachers and participate in ARD Committee meetings. Conduct assessments, manage student behavior, and maintain records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Valid Texas teacher certificate with required endorsements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee process and Individual Educational Plan goal setting process
  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and instruction
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to remain current with the latest developments in the profession
