Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Houston, Texas for the 2026–2027 school year. The SLP will help students develop the speech, language, and communication skills needed to access their education and participate successfully in the school environment. The SLP will work with students in Pre-K through High School or as outlined below, with support from both the district and the TheraPeds team.

What You Will Do

As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll help students develop the speech, language, and communication skills needed to access their education and participate successfully in the school environment. Your responsibilities may include providing direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in small groups, conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments, developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized IEP goals, and providing consultation and support to teachers, special education staff, and families.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active or eligible for Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
• Appropriate Texas Department of Education certification or credential for school-based practice, as required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) candidates may be considered, with appropriate supervision available
• Experience working with children
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
