Role Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the implementation of standards of care for Speech Therapy services and to evaluate, assess and treat patients’ speech, voice and language function for the purpose of rehabilitation.

Perform detailed assessments, create tailored therapy plans, administer therapies, and regularly re-assess patients' progress.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, a license to practice in Florida or a Compact State, and certification in Basic Life Support.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
  • License to practice in Florida or a Compact State
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • One (1) year experience in a clinical setting
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Speech Pathology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association or eligibility for certification pending professional experience or equivalent within one year
