Job Description
Earthjustice is seeking law students to participate in its Sustainable Food & Farming Program as part-time legal externs for a spring 2026 program. The program seeks students with a passion for justice and a healthy environment, with potential for remote work, academic credit fulfillment, or graduation requirements. They work on cases related to crop selection, farming practices, and sustainability, and aim to protect people's health, preserve places, and combat climate change.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in law school as a 2L or 3L during spring 2026.
  • Eligibility to receive academic credit or fulfill a graduation requirement through the externship.
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to environmental protection or environmental justice is a plus.
