Job Description
Earthjustice is seeking a part- or full-time legal intern for a Spring 2026 program for students enrolled in a U.S. law school. The company is a premier nonprofit environmental law organization focused on protecting people’s health, preserving environments, and advancing clean energy and combating climate change. Interns will work on case development and litigation-related projects, drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and attending client meetings. This is a paid position with a hybrid or in-person schedule.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a JD or LLM program at a U.S. law school during spring 2026.
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to think creatively.
  • Knowledge of environmental and administrative law is a plus.
  • Commitment of at least 20 hours per week (up to 37.5 hours).
