Role Overview

The Spvr Terminal Operations position plays a crucial role in supporting the movement of essential products and materials across North America's largest freight rail transportation network. As a member of the Transportation Department, you will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating and overseeing the complex logistics of rail transportation. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to safety, leadership, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our transportation services.

What You Will Do

Assist in implementing policy and the execution of the operating plan, supervise TY&E employees, plan daily train and switching operations, conduct operations tests and safety meetings, investigate accidents and injuries, and monitor and control costs to meet goals.

Requirements

  • Must be currently certified as a BNSF First Line Supervisor
  • Must possess a working knowledge of operating rules and schedule agreements applicable to the TY&E crafts
  • Must possess leadership and organizational skills as well as excellent working knowledge of day-to-day railroad operations and practices
  • Must possess strong TSS Xpress system knowledge
