Job Description
Derex Technologies Inc is seeking a SQL Server Lead/Architect to lead the full SQL Server estate, with experience in SQL Server Development (SSIS) and SQL DBA. Key responsibilities include technical ownership and architecture, troubleshooting, performance, and optimization.

Requirements

  • 15 years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server engineering with senior ownership of production environments
  • Strong SSIS expertise: package design patterns, performance tuning, troubleshooting, configurations, and deployments
  • Deep SQL Server Agent experience: scheduling strategy, dependencies, operational controls, and recovery patterns
  • Advanced T-SQL skills: stored procedures, functions, query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis
  • Prior DBA experience supporting production: maintenance strategy, security fundamentals, backup/restore concepts, capacity planning, and incident response
