Job Description
We are seeking a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst to design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models, work with data engineering, governance, and BI delivery teams, and ensure performance, consistency, and governance.

Requirements

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models
  • Adapt and extend enterprise data models for optimized Power BI consumption
  • Establish modeling patterns that balance flexibility, performance, and governance
  • Own performance tuning of Power BI datasets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and scalability issues
  • Partner with BI governance and data governance teams to ensure KPI definitions are documented, consistent, and auditable
  • Define and enforce modeling and calculation standards across Power BI solutions
  • Act as a technical consultant to the Platform Product Owner
  • Partner with the BI Delivery Lead to ensure architectural designs are translated into scalable, high-quality execution
  • Support BI engineers and analysts by answering modeling and DAX questions, providing architectural guidance, and establishing reusable templates and patterns
  • Advise BI leadership on modeling tradeoffs, risks, and technical constraints
  • Lead the modeling work for high-impact BI initiatives
  • Collaborate with BI Delivery Leads to ensure scalable implementation of approved patterns
