Job Description
The Sr. Claim Examiner- WC will investigate and settle complex claims promptly and equitably, using established authority. This role involves reviews, determinations of liability, claims best practices, and settlement strategies. The position requires judgment and the ability to work within defined parameters. Training and mentorship opportunities are also a part of the role.
Requirements
Investigate and settle advanced, large loss, complex claims.
Analyze claims activity and prepare reports for clients/carriers and management.
Establish reserves, using independent judgment and expertise.
Monitor the claims activity and follow reclaim procedures.
Develop subrogation and third party recovery potential.
