Job Description
We are seeking a Senior NPD Design Engineer to serve as the technical leader of the New Product Development team in the engineering department. In this pivotal role, you will own the end-to-end evolution of our next-generation product lines, driving innovation in positive displacement gear and screw pump technologies.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and PTC Creo, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of simulation software such as SolidWorks Sim and Ansys
  • Working knowledge of materials, coatings, and engineered materials (Required)
  • Working knowledge of IFS (MRP/ERP system) or similar
  • Experience with BOM structuring and modification
  • Strong working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams in the context of complex technical projects
  • Ability to serve as a project or team leader when required by the task or situation, while modelling appropriate positive influence and consensus building skills
  • Ability to create and present design, testing and other technical reports
  • Working knowledge of Lean as applied to both Engineering and Manufacturing processes including Six Sigma, Kaizen, DFMEA, PPAP, VA/VE, PFMEA, etc.
  • Knowledge of foundry, machine shop and fabrication practices
  • Ability to travel (10% Domestic & International)
