Job Description
A Senior Field Engineer assists Project Manager and Superintendent by performing delegated administrative and technical work assignments, reviewing project documents, and maintaining project schedules and records. They represent the company in project meetings and assist in expediting materials/equipment delivery. They also assist in maintaining project files and documentation, tracking subcontractor/supplier and company self-performed work, and expediting necessary permits and record documents.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and related experience
  • 2 years of experience in construction management, construction trades or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of methods and technology, sufficient to have the ability to determine proper construction sequencing, procurement planning, and review submittals
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
  • Working knowledge of computers and standard company software
  • Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
