Job Description
Meyer Utility Structures is searching for Sr. Fitter/Welders to join their growing team in Clinton, IL. The role involves using jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints and setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of welding experience and the ability to accurately measure within specified tolerances.

Requirements

  • Observe all standard safety practices and follow all safety rules
  • Lay out and cut complex subassemblies and/or final product
  • Fit and complete final welds and/or multi-pass welds
  • Maintain and complete all required records
  • Participate in safety committees and/or other initiatives
