Job Description
As a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner with OMES you will enjoy: Generous leave including 15 days of vacation, 15 days of sick leave and 11 paid holidays annually. Requirements
Developing strategic business partner relationships by working with agency leadership in understanding and supporting their organizational needs.
Partner with leadership to build an employee engagement strategy that strengthens agency culture and employee experience.
Provides consultation and guidance regarding human resources transactions, policies, procedures, administrative rules, State and Federal laws, and Human Resources best practices.
Serves as the designated HR liaison for assigned divisions, supporting all HR functions including workforce planning, employee relations, and talent acquisition.
Maintains HR data systems, reports, and spreadsheets to inform agency-wide and division-specific decisions.
Advise leaders on compensation decisions and talent management to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
Partner with benefits teams to address employee questions and promote understanding of available resources.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Mentor and coach Level I and II HRBPs, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer across the HR team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
