Role Overview

Transforming mobility by creating world-class powertrain systems. As a Sr. Human Resources Generalist, you will assist in the administration of policies and procedures, recruit qualified candidates, and maintain confidentiality in all areas of human resources.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include recruiting qualified candidates, creating employee communications, issuing employee disciplines, overseeing training, processing payroll and benefit related tasks, and providing guidance to employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment
  • HR related certification/degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Workday and Dayforce
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the need to do so
  • Experience in recruitment and selection, training assessment, performance management, employee relations, and compensation and benefit management
  • Able to handle conflict/stressful situations and resolve them in a professional manner
  • Experience assisting with supporting Health & Safety and Environmental programs
  • Knowledge of OSHA and Environmental requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO 14001 & 45001 preferred
  • Experience leading investigations
  • Understands the importance of supporting the workforce and developing rapport and trust with the team
  • Experience of being a lead for the Department during audits such as IATF, ISO 14001 & 45001, and Mafact
  • 1-3 years' experience supervising and mentoring team members
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize a heavy workload
  • Professional, friendly, and exceptional interpersonal skills (written, verbal, listening)
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience managing Training Grants including providing reports on governmental affairs and agencies
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including ability to understand, speak, and write English
  • Working knowledge of applicable Labor Laws
  • Must be able to work additional hours and weekends, when required
  • Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented work approach
  • Must be flexible in fulfilling job responsibilities and initiating and embracing company change
