Role OverviewThe Sr. Manager position is a deputy Program Manager position in the program office offering an exciting opportunity to work on a vital program that delivers cutting-edge missile defense capabilities. Reporting to the NSMS Obsolescence Associate Director, this role provides broad exposure, leadership opportunities, and the chance to collaborate with key stakeholders across engineering, production, supply chain, and our customers.
What You Will Do
Lead proposal development, Submit Gate reviews, and contract negotiations. Manage program baselining and Startup Gate reviews and approvals. Oversee multiple hardware replacement efforts across various contracts, driving efficiency while minimizing execution risk.

Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience
- Prior program and project management experience
- PM4 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Prior experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar program/platform
- Prior experience with managing cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Prior experience with proposal development and contract negotiation
