Job Description
The Senior Manager of Quality Assurance oversees the execution and coordination of all quality systems for raw material receiving, in plant operations, and overall supply-chain. This role is directly responsible for managing the Quality Assurance and Sanitation teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field.
  • 5+ years relevant quality experience
  • 2+ years leading teams
  • 2+ years’ experience with GFSI Quality Systems such as SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000 or IS 9000 (preferable)
  • 3+ years’ experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Good Laboratory, Practices (GLP's), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Systems (HACCP), ISO, Regulatory Guidelines, Sensory, and/or Microbiology.
  • FDQI certification (Food Defense Qualified Individual) is required and Food Defense awareness training at FDA website should be done.
