Job Description
Calumet is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to lead engineering initiatives, capital projects, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure safe, compliant, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, production systems, or industrial process equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline
  • 10+ years’ experience supporting manufacturing operations, production systems, or industrial process equipment
  • Proven experience leading capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, contractor oversight, and vendor management
  • Working knowledge of industrial safety requirements, regulatory compliance, and safe design principles
  • Proficiency with common engineering and project management tools
  • Experience with manufacturing automation, controls, and instrumentation (PLC controlled equipment, sensors, interlocks, alarms)
  • Experience working with flammable liquids, including safe handling, storage, and process design in compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations
