Job Description
The Sr. Mechanical Engineer – Server Liquid Systems would work in our new product development (NPD) team responsible for the design, development, and testing of advanced thermal-mechanical solutions, focusing on liquid-cooling hardware for data centers. The role involves design, analysis, and integration of cold plates, heat exchangers, and other components, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams and supplier engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design roles involving thermal-mechanical solutions, fluid systems, and/or cooling hardware
  • Familiarity with data center cooling technologies, ASHRAE guidelines, and industry best practices
  • Proficient modeling skills required, preferably in Creo
  • Ability to read, interpret and produce drawings and equipment specifications
  • Interpreting customer specification requirements
  • Demonstrates excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Works independently and is highly motivated to initiate and accept new challenges
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Exhibits appropriate attributes in all aspects of performance, demeanor, accuracy, results orientation, planning, effective information management
