Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician –Trenton,NJ

Requirements

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles in a field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck systems, including electrical, wiring, and cooling systems, starters, alternators, fan clutches, and engine electronics, air conditioning systems, diesel and gas engines, transmissions (manual/automatic), clutches, differentials, hydraulic and steering systems, air brake systems.
• Collect and document repair information; communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Upload pictures, parts usage, and repair findings into Repair Orders (“RO”) using a company-issued iOS device and our proprietary TRAIT application.
• Complete all DOT and company documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain and operate a company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Work independently, managing your own schedule and productivity while meeting Standard Repair Times.
• Use logic and reasoning to troubleshoot, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions.
