Job Description
Maintain and repair injection molds, troubleshoot equipment, and set up production machines in a manufacturing environment. Must have experience with hydraulics systems, electrical and electronic equipment, and mechanical equipment.

Requirements

  • Maintain and repair all injection molds
  • Ability to work on hydraulics systems, electrical and electronic equipment
  • Interfaces with production supervisors
  • Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble various injection molds
  • Make minor repairs to injection molds while in press
  • Troubleshoot equipment for defective or worn components
  • Set up various production machines
  • Monitor machinery and process goals during shift
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunction
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
