Job Description
We're looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to join our team at ENTRUST Solutions Group. As a key member of our Network Engineering Group, you'll be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing client networks, leading troubleshooting efforts, and guiding root-cause analysis. You'll work closely with client teams, offering mentorship and helping elevate their technical capabilities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of network support experience in a Service Provider/Carrier environment with a focus on designing, deploying, & operating large-scale networks at OSI model Layers 1 through 3
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP, EVPN) and firewalls
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with IPv4 and IPv6
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with networking hardware
  • In-depth knowledge of physical infrastructure design including structured cabling and fiber-optic cabling
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against mission-critical deadlines
  • Proven experience working in a team environment and solving problems with limited supervision
  • Strong communications, problem-solving, and documentation abilities
  • Expert analytical skills to diagnose complex routing and connectivity issues
  • Must have a firm grasp of network security principles and practices
  • CCNA, JNCIA, CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent preferred
