Role OverviewThe Sr. Principal Associate – HSE, Occupational Hygiene and Safety position will support OSHA 1910 general industry and 1926 construction health and safety requirements within the GFMES HSE organization. This role will be the Program Owner and Subject Matter Expert for various workplace health and safety aspects. The primary responsibility of the role is to lead and collaborate with the workforce to ensure execution of health and safety programs, procedures and supporting processes by providing technical expertise, counsel/guidance, assess compliance with applicable external regulations and internal HSE standards, assess effectiveness of the HSE management systems and drive continuous improvements.
What You Will Do
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: overseeing various safety and health programs, leading the development, execution, and sustainment of the Safety Culture Improvement Plan, leading the Behavior Based Safety Program, leading the SafeStart Now Program, leading the Safety Recognition Program, serving as the primary safety and health support for the Manufacturing Quality Learning Center, and performing self-assessments for safety and health and programs assigned as the Program Owner/Subject Matter Expert.
