Job Description
The Sr. Property Accountant will be responsible for general accounting, financial statement preparations, and high-level monthly variance explanations. They will also maintain and ensure accuracy of GAAP rent calculation, prepare and ensure accuracy of joint venture partner's detailed reporting package, and assist with outside auditor's requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA, highly preferred
  • 3-5+ years commercial real estate accounting experience, or public accounting audit or other commensurate experience
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills required
  • Proficiency in Excel – Intermediate Level
  • JDE experience preferred
  • Prior GAAP experience preferred
